There’s something we’ve been celebrating here at Ardel Engineering that we’d like to share with you.
Our company recently achieved its ninth consecutive year of ISO compliance without a single negative finding. As our ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 13485 medical re-certifications imply, we are keeping constant with quality standards for industries of all types.
Given the hard work we’ve put in this past year, this certification certainly doesn’t come as much of a surprise. All the same, we view it as a sign of how far we’ve come as a custom manufacturer in under a decade, and that it heralds the shape of things to come for us this year and beyond.
In order to gain ISO re-certification, a company must not only demonstrate that it is compliant with previous qualitative standards, but must also show that it is adapting seamlessly to new ones. In other words, the constant daily progress involved in becoming ISO-certified becomes “compliance” in of itself.
When it comes to our company, the numbers and names speak for themselves. Our Swiss screw machining capabilities typically produce 500 – 2,500 custom-made pieces (but can fabricate as few as 50 and as many as 500,000 pieces) for any given assignment. Our quick turnaround allows us to perform important assignments within 2-3 weeks. We’ve been able to provide innovative solutions for some of the world’s foremost aerospace companies.
Our ITAR registration allows us the ability to build certain parts for the military that others simply cannot. We were able to pass our audit by BSI with flying colors because we possess quality and wherewithal such as these.
We look forward to a year where we continue to extend our capabilities into other applications and industries such as the microwave and medical industries. Satellite communication and high-performance hospital equipment are all fields we would like to continue developing our business contacts within. Those in these fields with whom we do business can expect to receive the same level of productivity, ingenuity, and timeliness that have distinguished us as a company for a long while, and have garnered us a new re-certifying.
