JOB OVERVIEW

 

Removes burrs and excess material from machined parts to within specified tolerances using hand tools and microscope.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Remove rust, burrs and sharp edges from machined parts using hand tools and microscope
  • Complete and update paperwork accurately

Qualifications:

  • Perform wide range of physical activities ranging from pushing, pulling, lifting heavy objects (up to 30 lbs), bending, and dexterity skills
  • Work with oil and coolants contacting the skin
  • Continually evaluate processes for improvements
  • Adhere to all departmental and company procedures and policies
  • Practice and support current ISO procedures
  • Able to sit for long periods of time
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • 1 year of deburring using hand tools and microscope
