CNC Vertical Mills
Ardel Engineering utilizes Hass Vertical Machining centers for our production and short run customers. Our dedicated production machines have pallet changers for medium to high volume. This virtually eliminates spindle down time because parts can be changed on the pallet that is outside the machine while another pallet is running inside the machine. These machines feature High speed spindles, through the tool coolant and rapid traverse. Ardel Engineering runs Delrin, UHMW, Aluminum, Brass, Steel, Stainless Steel, Castings and Aluminum forgings on this equipment. Our Short run, Prototype and assembly fixture Hass machines have all the same features minus the pallet changer. This allows for quick setups which will reduce your new product development and assembly / check fixture costs while maintaining excellent quality. CNC Swiss Screw Machine
Here we have our 3, 20mm Citizen Swiss Screw machines. These turning machines have magazine style 12 foot bar feeders for extended operation. These also have high pressure coolant pumps in order to use through the tool coolant for precision and fast drilling applications. With twin spindles and live tooling Ardel Engineering has the capability to run turned parts with flats and cross holes complete without other secondary operations. This gives a better controlled and more economically priced component. Our machines are capable of running all types of materials. From Delrin to Titanium and Brass to Stainless Steel. All of the industries we serve require parts run off this style of equipment. Our typical run size is 500 to 50000 pieces but, we have run parts above and below that volume range. CNC Turning Center
This is our TW-20 Nakamora. This impressive CNC Lathe has the capability to run 2-5/8” diameter stock through the spindle delivered by its 4 foot magazine style bar feeder. The Nakamora features twin spindles and twin turrets with live tooling for cross holes, flats, slots and grooves. Ardel Engineering has run many parts off this machine that would have traditionally been made on a mill with many operations. We have also run production, competitively, for parts that were typically plastic injection molded. While we typically run Aluminum and Stainless Steel parts for the Aerospace industry off this machine we have run Brass, Plastics and even Castings for some of our Commercial customers.
